Let's give it a try....

So....a blog huh? Well I'm not the writing type, but I have had some people say it would be interesting to see what goes on in my life! For you could say its changed quite dramatically over the last couple years...especially 2009 to now!

In doing this blog, I'm trying to decide what to blog about??? I've got lots going on...being a mom, being part of the queer community, being the girlfriend of a pretty fabulous DJ (of course I'm biased)....and I'm sure that their is more! Oh yeah, all the great "parties" and "nightlife" events that I am part of. That's probably the part that the MOST interesting!! So in doing this blog I am hoping to give you some quirky fun stuff about parenthood, maybe some insight to who I am, and of course all the fun stuff that I get to do! Lets just say that some of the people I know love to live vicariously through my stories!

Today...hmmm, well my girlfriend is in Palm Springs getting ready to DJ at the Ace Hotel for Dinah Shore weekend, joined by the fabulous Honeysuckle Hype. My son, well he is at Grammy's for a couple days of spring break. That being said, they called today and informed me that they didn't get the nerf gun he wanted but instead she bought him "Grand Theft Auto" for his PSP?!?! Are you kidding me mom??? Yeah she knows its rated M for MATURE (not an 8 year old), but she had the discussion with him that its all pretend. Ok...well, lets just hope he doesn't get any ideas! Mom--did you know that they can buy and kill hookers on this game??!! DEEP BREATH AMY...DEEP BREATH!

Lets see what else, oh yeah...bought myself a new camera today! Can you say, when the cats away, the mice will play? I couldn't resist though...QVC gets me with that dang 'easy pay' every time. Its ok, right, cuz its only $85 a month??? But hey, I will be able to get those great candid Hard Times photos that you all love.

Speaking of Hard Times....Its right around the corner! Yep only 10 more days until everyone can get their freak on! The best part...the LUXURY A.K. video premier and CD release!!! And that new camera I bought will be here by then. Can not wait to get some pics. Kendall and Adraboo are about to rip the roof off the ole ReBar!! Great DJ's performing too...Jimme Jamma from PDX (also know as one half of our gay counterpart), Skiddle and my fav cutie making his Hard Times debute TONY BURNS!! I love Hard Times!!! and look forward to it every month. This month...I'm thinking Drag King! Lets see how many people I can fool??

Well...I gots sweet potatoes in the oven and better go check em! I am sure I will be posting again soon as this weekend I am attending Kinetic 4 at the Pacific Science Center. Yeah, a huge party with lots of music and dancing. Cant wait...pics to follow!
